Advanced Surgery

Particular areas of expertice include

Anti-Reflux Surgery
for GERD and hiatal hernias as well as laparoscopic repair of inguinal, incisional and abdominal wall hernias.

Laparoscopic surgery
for diseases affecting the appendix, gallbladder,colon, small intestine,  spleen, and adrenal gland are provided for our patients .

Minimally invasive
exploration for the  evaluation of chronic abdominal pain from adhesions is also offered.

Dr Gillian is currently the only Surgeon in Northern Virginia crededialed for placement of the Enterra® gastric pacemaker in the treatment of medically refractory gastroparesis.
